  2. Have you worked on your own original research? Tell me about that research and what you learned from it.
  3. What do you like least about your present (or last) job?
  4. What qualities do you think make a good pharmacist? Tell me about a time when you demonstrated one of these qualities.
  5. It is very important to us that our pharmacists try to build professional relationships with community members. Tell us about a time when you built relationships with a person or organization, not related to pharmacy or healthcare, to improve community relationships.
  6. What are your greatest concerns about your first year with this company/organization?
  7. What would you do if you discovered a confidential file was missing when you were certain that it had been securely locked away?
  8. Describe a situation where you made an error in your work. What was the error? What action did you take?
  9. Tell me about a time when you had many competing responsibilities. How did you manage these responsibilities and set priorities?
  10. Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a patient/customer. What was the nature of the conflict and how did you resolve this situation?
  11. Tell me about an experience you have had supervising the work of other people in a pharmacy or laboratory setting.

  13. Working in pharmacy can be very physically demanding. How would you prepare for these demands?
  14. Tell me about a time when you had a disagreement with a colleague. What was the situation, the solution and the outcome? What role did you play in the solution and the outcome?
  15. Pretend I am a diabetic patient that comes into the pharmacy. Teach me how to monitor my insulin levels.
  16. What would you do if you discover in a patient’s drug profile that they have gone to 15 different medical clinics on a consistent basis over several years and at each they obtained a prescription for a highly addictive prescription drug?
